Primary and General Elections
About 9:00pm on election night, MESAC volunteers begin the task of noting and communicating the transportation of the Precinct ballot boxes to election central in Santa Ana. A highly trained volunteer staff unloads the ballot boxes while maintaining a ‘chain of command’ insuring no untoward activity takes place and the ballot boxes are not tampered with. Orange County Sheriff deputies oversee all activity. It is the task of MESAC volunteers to note each precinct and the box number and let election central know when each van is dispatched.
